C'est là que tout commence et que s'organise la vision.
Masculin ou féminin les corps se dévoilent en toute discrétion mais pas seulement. Trois ans pour imaginer cette première édition sur le nu que j'ai voulu doux sur certains aspects, sensuel sur d'autres mais également sombre et noir. Ingres peignait des scènes en rapport au désir au sexuel et au corps à sa manière. Il mettait en scène sa vision de la Nudité dévoilée. Tout comme Sade l'écrivait avec ses mots, que l'on aime ou pas on ne reste jamais vraiment insensible devant un corps qui se dénude. Les six photographes avec qui j'ai décidé de faire cette exposition, vont, à leur manière, tenter de répondre à ce désir et à cette curiosité.
Le photographe Loïc Guston prend le sujet de front en exposant sa série "Double room ". Ici l'artiste nous fait entrer dans l'intimité de chambres d'hôtels ou d'appartements. Notre regard prend plaisir à être de l'autre coté de la lorgnette. Cette indiscrétion dans l'intime nous rappelle notre nature humaine.

2/to Take a first photo of the monument on its base or support.
3/to approach. Take the second photo without the base, the close-up of the very monument. If possible in "low-angle shot" (upward with the sky or the ceiling in the background).
4/The third more free and more distant photo to place the context in which is installed the monument.
Robert Adams photographie la géographie de l'Ouest américain depuis plus de quarante ans. Il y trouve une beauté fragile mais persistante malgré les relations agitées que nous entretenons avec la nature et avec nous-mêmes. Le travail d'Adams se distingue par son économie et sa lucidité, mais aussi par un mélange de déploration et d'émerveillement. D'un côté, il constate, outre un recul néfaste de l'espace et du silence, l'inhumanité de la majorité de nos constructions. De l'autre, il reste attentif à la bienveillance, à l'affection et à la joie visibles chez certains malgré leurs conditions de vie, ainsi qu'au pouvoir rédempteur que conserve la lumière du jour, même lorsqu'elle inonde des banlieues. Introduction parfaitement accessible à la vision de Robert Adams, Que croire là où nous sommes ? nous invite à réfléchir sur le privilège de vivre à l'endroit où nous vivons et sur les obligations qui en découlent. Il est question ici de l'Ouest des Etats-Unis, mais aussi, par extension, de la planète toute entière.
